Job Title: Sr Associate, Software Engineering – C2 NDPP
In a fast moving and increasingly complex world, L3Harris is anticipating and rapidly responding to challenges with agile technology – creating a safer and more secure future. L3Harris is seeking a dynamic Software Engineer who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining space command and control (C2) systems software. The Software Engineer will work with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and assess software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle. Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, creating software test procedures, developing software programs, preparing related documentation, conducting peer reviews, identifying, tracking, and resolving software defects
Collaborate effectively with small teams of software engineers
Develop software as a Java full stack engineer
 
 
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance
At least 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java full stack development
 
 
Knowledgeable in the full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to deployment
Strong organization of open software tasks
Understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices, including Agile development
Experience with relational databases
Knowledge of asynchronous programming
