This role will support M1 Global .

We are seeking a Genetec Systems Administrator to support a growing, integrated Genetec access control and video solution across a large global user base spanning 100+ locations. Administer and maintain Genetec Security Center across access control and video: add/modify devices and cameras, configure hardware, and ensure integrations remain healthy.
Troubleshoot connectivity and mechanical failures across controllers, readers, cameras, and intercom endpoints; optimize call routing, audio quality, and availability.
Oversee third‑party plug-ins including video analytics and biometric integrations; validate compatibility, performance, and licensing.
Maintain configuration standards, documentation, and runbooks; contribute to knowledge base for global support teams.
Partner with facilities, security operations, and network teams to diagnose cross‑domain issues and drive timely resolution.

This position is part of a regional search for qualified Genetec professionals . Candidates currently located outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply, particularly those with relevant experience in Northern Virginia / Data Center Alley, Ohio, the Mid-Atlantic region, and other major data center, technology, enterprise security, or physical security markets.
The successful candidate will be based in Pittsburgh, PA and must be willing to relocate to the area.

Hands-on experience supporting Genetec enterprise environments at scale (multi-site, multi-region), including Security Center administration.
Demonstrated ability to independently configure, troubleshoot, and support Genetec systems—not simply monitor or use the platform as an end user.
E xperience supporting Genetec environments at scale, including multi-site, multi-region, enterprise, data center, corporate, or other complex environments.
Proficiency in core operational domains: device provisioning, camera and access control configuration, role/user management, patching/firmware, and incident troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset and clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s preemployment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements.
