Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are working with the Controller of a Technology company based in New York City. They are looking for a dynamic Accounting Manager to join their organization. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including equity and a hybrid schedule!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and executive month-end and quarter-end close
• Prepare and maintain ASC 842 lease schedules
• Review and approve fixed asset additions and disposals
• Assist SEC Reporting team with preparation of financial statements disclosures
• Collaborate with FP&A by sharing accurate financial information and accounting insights
• Lead SOX audit coordination by preparing and reviewing control documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience including a Big 4 audit foundation
• Corporate Accounting experience including 1+ years in a leadership role
• Exposure to FP&A, SEC Reporting, and Internal Audit Highly Preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.

COMPENSATION:

$140,000 – $150,000 + 20% Bonus + Equity
