Job Description

Scrum Master
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Join a team of change agents who coach, teach, and guide individuals using Agile principles, practices, and frameworks
Partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve the End User Experience
Work with tech leads on technical design and with team members to understand systems end-to-end and deliver robust solutions with business impact
Ensure teams live Agile values and principles and follow agreed-upon processes to deliver committed solutions
Promote and support Agile principles by helping everyone understand applied theories, practices, rules, and value
Help stakeholders outside the team improve their interactions with the team to increase value delivered
Support all aspects of risk management and impediment resolution

Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, or comparable Agile delivery leadership role
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Agile principles and frameworks, including story writing, estimation, facilitation, and continuous improvement (CI)
Performing the Scrum Master role on teams with highly complex outcomes
Delivery, reporting and metrics, and Agile toolchains (Jira, Jira Align, Miro, etc.)

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Scrum Master experience supporting multiple teams in the financial services industry
Project Management experience
Understanding of Device Lifecycle Management
