Title: Senior Revenue Manager

Location: Mclean VA – 5x/week on site

Compensation: $150-170K + bonus structure (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant with strong ASC 606 expertise to own revenue recognition for SaaS contracts, including usage-based arrangements. This role will oversee accurate revenue accounting, evaluate complex contract terms, and partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and scalable accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition for usage-based SaaS arrangements, including evaluating contract terms and determining appropriate recognition under ASC 606.
• Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations, assess variable consideration, allocate transaction prices, and document accounting conclusions.
• Manage revenue-related month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and deferred and unbilled revenue schedules.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Billing, and Finance to assess revenue implications of new contracts, renewals, and modifications.
• Prepare technical accounting documentation and support revenue-related audit requests.
• Improve revenue accounting processes, controls, and reporting as the business grows.

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA required.
• 8+ years of ASC 606/revenue recognition experience.
• SaaS industry experience required.
• Must have directly owned revenue recognition for usage-based arrangements , including responsibility for accounting conclusions and ongoing revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of complex revenue arrangements, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
