Responsibilities for this Position Network Engineer Intern
Employment Type: Intern
Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
Department of DefenseSecret security clearance ispreferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.GDMS has an immediate opening for an Engineering Intern to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
Network Engineer intern for COS, 2nd or 3rd year student seeking a B.Basic IT courses for devices that include things such as routers, switches, servers, storage, and/or firewalls, and a course on systems/software engineering fundamentals
This position is a fulltime “Intern” position.
While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS team at the Lockheed Martin Facility at 9970 Federal Drive CS, Colorado 80921
