Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Systems Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical, Systems Engineering discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
Department of Defense secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.GDMS has openings for Systems Engineer Interns for Summer 2027. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission. Clear understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
