Job Description

My client is hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of core accounting operations and build toward a Controller track.
Lead the monthly close process end to end, including reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Take direct ownership of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, managing a team of three
Partner cross functionally with Treasury, Tax, and Risk to keep financial reporting accurate and coordinated across the business
Support the annual audit process, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
Identify and drive process and system improvements, including future ERP enhancements
Build out team performance standards and mentor staff toward stronger technical and professional development

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business field
~ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3 years in management
~ Comfort managing people and processes, not just reviewing output
