Job Description

Company Overview A growing, multi-platform investment firm based in New York, the company operates across advisory, capital markets, and direct investment activities through several subsidiaries. Two of those entities are regulated: a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and an SEC-registered investment adviser. To date, its bookkeeping, accounting, compliance, tax, payroll, and financial administration have been supported by outside providers, a model the business has now outgrown.

This is a foundational, hands-on finance leadership role designed to bring the firm’s finance function in-house and build its financial infrastructure from the ground up. As the firm’s first in-house finance leader, the Controller / VP of Finance will own accounting, consolidation, treasury, and regulatory finance across a multi-entity platform while partnering directly with leadership on planning for every business line. This role requires a professional who can execute in the details today while building the processes, controls, and team the firm will need at scale.
