Sales and Ecommerce Applications Manager

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Provide support of production business applications with appropriate policies, procedures, standards and metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for development and support of all the production Sales Audit, Banking, and HR/Payroll Systems.
Works with the SVP, IT/CIO to ensure all new applications conform to standards prior to turn over to production.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project planning
Staff development
Budget Assistance
Project leadership
Vendor relationship management and contract negotiation
RFP preparation and evaluation
Project status reporting
Business analysis and process improvement
Requirements definition
Application design
Package upgrade management
Test planning
Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Candidate must hold a B.S. degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
# Five (5) years previous experience in leading an application support team with significant experience in quality assurance
# Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of IT experience
# Strong project management and communication skills
# Strong performance metrics in which he or she was personally accountable for project and team performance
# Experience in one or more of the following technologies:

Sales Audit, Loss Prevention, HR/Payroll, Internet/Intranet Portals, MicroFocus Cobol, Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher
