Seeking a Senior Media Investment Buyer with 5+ years of agency or media buying experience to lead local media investments, negotiate buys, manage client accounts, and oversee an Associate-level direct report.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage local TV and radio media buys ; digital video experience is a plus.
  • Develop media plans based on campaign goals, budgets, timelines, and target audiences.
  • Analyze local market conditions, audience trends, and competitive activity.
  • Negotiate rates, placements, and added-value opportunities to maximize reach and impressions.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance against goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local media vendors and station representatives.
  • Manage and mentor an Associate, including daily workload and development.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of media buying/investment experience , preferably with strong local media experience.
  • Established relationships with local TV/radio station contacts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook .
  • Strata and SQAD experience preferred.
