2026 Fall Co-Op Software Engineer (Crewed Land) – Slidell, LA Description

We are here to provide necessary and life-changing services and products to our customers. Designing, developing, testing and support of future Family of vehicles for Land systems, as well as integration of vehicular components, sub systems, in conjunction with new design, product improvement, field and production problem resolution.
Creating electrical schematics, harnessing design, and drawings in CAD system such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Performing engineering calculations, writing specifications, formulating sketches, testing criteria, failure analysis, and cost estimates.
Providing technical support to both internal and external customers for technical data package delivery.
Understanding customer requirements, and provide design solutions
Interest in automotive design related field
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Electrical/Electronic component and system integration and analysis; electrical power distribution system design and electrical load analysis; electrical circuit design and analysis
electro-electrical and servo control mechanism design and integration; electrical/electronic instrumentation and data acquisition
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or related CAD experience
S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
During your Co-Op period in you will connect with people across multiple disciplines and locations, giving you exposure to new projects and mentorship. Networking with fellow employees and leadership across Textron Systems.

Pay Range: For our intern program the pay ranges are determined by factors such as anticipated graduation year.
