Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Data Engineer will work with technical and business teams to develop and enhance data pipelines and ETL processes, support data transformation and analytics workloads, and maintain production ready solutions.
  • The role also provides opportunities to apply Generative AI and automation capabilities to improve data engineering processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in data engineering environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining data solutions using Amazon Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, including ETL jobs and data transformation workflows.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing and supporting ETL/data pipelines for analytics applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their application to data engineering or automation use cases.
  • Experience automating data engineering processes, workflows, and operational tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support data applications in enterprise production environments.
  • Experience working with financial services, risk analytics, or similarly regulated data environments is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
