College to Corporate IT Internship – Risk & Security – Engineer (NC)

Job Description

Protecting our investors from risk requires clear goals, big ideas and resolute action. As part of the Engineering track, you’ll build security-focused technology solutions that keep Vanguard safe day in and day out. Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. Extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. You’ll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. In this internship you will:
Gain hands-on experience in software development and practice Agile & LEAN methodologies in a dynamic environment
Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers
Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
In pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
Strong interest in web, mobile, and/or application development
This program is a full-time, paid summer internship
