I’m partnering with an established Midwest engineering consulting firm that is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Engineer to its growing team in the Chicagoland area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an HVAC and/or plumbing background who wants greater project ownership, direct access to leadership, and exposure to a specialized project portfolio.

The Opportunity:

• Lead mechanical/HVAC + plumbing design for municipal, water/wastewater + infrastructure facilities
• Take ownership of projects from design through construction
• Work on building systems within complex infrastructure environments
• Coordinate directly with clients + multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced engineers
• Opportunity to continue growing into project leadership + PM responsibilities
• Strong, consistent pipeline of long-term infrastructure projects

What They’re Looking For:

• Mechanical engineering experience within MEP/building systems
• Strong HVAC and/or plumbing design background
• Experience coordinating projects across multiple disciplines
• Ability to take ownership of projects and work directly with clients
• Strong communication + technical leadership skills
• PE valued for senior-level candidates
