Lead and manage full-cycle month-end close activities with a high degree of accuracy and ownership
Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations across assigned areas
Deliver balance sheet and income statement analytics with a focus on a key business unit
Support tie-outs and financial reporting in a public company reporting environment
Identify and drive process improvements across close workflows and accounting operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with business unit leaders and finance stakeholders on reporting and analysis
Maintain technical accounting expertise and apply it to complex or non-routine transactions
Ensure all work product meets the quality and documentation standards expected by senior leadership
Support special projects and stretch assignments as the team continues to evolve and expand its capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
~ Public accounting experience very strongly preferred
~a blend of public accounting and mid-market industry experience ideal
~ Strong technical accounting skills with full-cycle close experience in a corporate environment
~ Advanced Excel skills: comfort with financial reporting tools valued
