Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 per year A bit about us: A leading technology-enabled private capital services organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to expand its enterprise data capabilities and deliver high-impact initiatives initially aligned with the Finance function. This position will build upon a newly established data platform, develop reliable pipelines and data products, and partner with business stakeholders to improve financial planning, analytics, and commercial decision-making. As the data function grows, this individual will have the opportunity to help shape its direction and extend data-driven insights across the broader organization. Why join us? Competitive salary of $140,000 – $170,000 annually Discretionary bonus Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to shape and expand a growing enterprise data function Ownership of high-impact Finance and analytics initiatives Exposure to a modern data stack built on Snowflake and dbt Cross-functional opportunities as the data platform expands across the business Technical and personal development training Career growth and promotion-from-within opportunities Employee benefits focused on physical, mental, and financial well-being Collaborative environment that values innovation, problem-solving, and new ideas Job Details Build, enhance, and maintain a scalable data platform using Snowflake and dbt Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines connecting enterprise source systems with analytical consumers Integrate data from platforms such as Intacct and Salesforce Deliver trusted data models and datasets primarily for consumption in Power BI Partner initially with Financial Planning and Analytics stakeholders to improve commercial decision-making Work directly with business stakeholders to translate operational and analytical needs into data solutions Identify, assess, and prioritize future data-product use cases across the organization Develop data-ingestion processes using APIs, Python, and modern ingestion technologies Maintain enterprise security, governance, and organizational standards throughout the data platform Apply data architecture and modeling principles to scalable enterprise solutions Support documentation, governance, and development practices using Azure DevOps Lead or manage data engineering resources and provide technical direction Organize and deliver multiple parallel workstreams Support additional projects and responsibilities assigned by the Finance team Help shape the data function as it expands into additional business areas Interested in hearing more?
