Senior Data Engineer – Databricks / Snowflake / Azure Indianapolis, IN | Hybrid

We’re partnering with a confidential, industry-leading organization in the infrastructure and construction materials sector to hire a Senior Data Engineer who will help build and scale a modern enterprise cloud data platform.

You’ll design and optimize data pipelines, strengthen the Databricks environment, implement Delta Lake and data governance, and improve the reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of the cloud data platform. You’ll work closely with Data Strategy, Finance, Operations, and Analytics teams.

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Databricks
Optimize Databricks clusters for performance, reliability, and cost
Integrate Databricks with Azure services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, DevOps)
Build CI/CD pipelines and workflow orchestration
Support data governance through Unity Catalog
Help establish engineering standards and best practices

5+ years of Data Engineering or Cloud Data Engineering experience
~ Strong production experience with Databricks
~ Advanced Python / PySpark and SQL
~ Experience building and supporting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
~ Solid understanding of cloud data architecture (Azure preferred)
~ Experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
~ Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
~ Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure DevOps
Delta Lake and Databricks Unity Catalog
CI/CD for data workflows
Databricks Jobs / workflow orchestration
Cluster monitoring and cost optimization
Power BI or Tableau exposure
