Job Title: Senior Specialist, Software Engineering (Embedded)
As a Senior Specialist, Software Engineer (Embedded), you will be responsible for supporting and help leading the development and execution of software on the embedded targeted hardware. You will be responsible for designing the software per requirements documents and system level design documents. The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.Â

Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted embedded hardware.
Proficient in C++, implementing software for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware, firmware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.
Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test.
Develop software test plans and procedures, and other relevant technical documentation
Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6 years prior engineering experience OR Graduate Degree with 4 years of prior related experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior engineering related experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in computer/software engineering field
Minimum of 5 years’ C++ development in a professional environment.
Active US Secret Clearance.

Experience developing and testing real-time embedded software preferred.
Experience with Modern C++ techniques.
Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban development processes and procedures. Â
Working knowledge of Linux.
