Position: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Contract Location: Dallas, TX HYBRID – 3 days a week. In-Person Interview

Overview We’re seeking a seasoned SDET with strong Java development skills and deep expertise in building automation frameworks. You’ll lead the design and execution of automated testing strategies for web, client-server, and microservices applications, working with modern tools, AWS cloud services, and best practices to ensure software quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities – Build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch (Java, Python). – Automate testing for web, client-server, and microservices-based applications. – Perform service-level automation (Groovy, Rest Assured). – Lead code reviews and mentor engineers on best practices. – Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle). – Use AWS tools (Kibana, ElasticSearch, New Relic) for cloud-based testing. – Ensure quality metrics using SonarQube.

Qualifications – 5+ years core Java development (from scratch and modifying existing code). – 5+ years automation framework development & testing strategy design. – 3+ years Selenium automation for web apps. – Experience automating client-server applications. – Hands-on with AWS test automation tools. – Strong troubleshooting, mentoring, and communication skills. – Familiarity with Spring Boot, Kafka (nice-to-have).
