Tax Manager | Elmira, NY

Insight Global is hiring a Tax Manager to join our growing team in the greater Elmira, NY area.

In this leadership role, you'll review and prepare complex tax returns, lead tax planning initiatives, mentor team members, and partner with clients and advisors to deliver exceptional service and maximize tax planning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare individual, partnership, trust, gift, and other complex tax returns
• Lead tax planning and quarterly projection activities
• Serve as a departmental leader, driving process improvements and team success
• Mentor and develop tax associates
• Research tax issues and provide guidance to clients, advisors, and staff
• Respond to federal, state, and local tax authority correspondence
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver outstanding client service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Enrolled Agent (EA) required; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of tax experience,
• Experience reviewing and preparing complex tax returns
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tax software applications
• Experience with fiduciary returns and ProSystem, BNA Income Tax Planner, Intelli-Connect, or similar tools is preferre
