TAX MANAGER Who We Are
Lipschultz, Levin & Gray, LLC (LLG) is one of the Chicago area’s most established independent accounting firms. For over 80 years, LLG has provided accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to privately held companies and their owners. Due to our firm’s continued growth, we are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team. Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, S corporation, and trust returns
Review tax returns and supporting workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Prepare annual income tax provisions and provide tax planning services
Research accounting and tax matters, summarize findings, and propose appropriate solutions
Provide tax consulting and advice to clients on a variety of tax matters
Respond to client inquiries and tax authority notices
Perform other accounting and tax-related duties as assigned

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced professional with an upbeat outlook who enjoys working with clients and takes pride in providing high-quality tax and accounting services.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; At least five years of public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations, with a working knowledge of GAAP
Experience overseeing AI-assisted tax research and compliance automation tools
QuickBooks Desktop/Online
Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word
CCH ProSystem fx or Axcess Tax
